Goals

Patient will remain free from complications as evidenced by absence of symptoms and normal vaginal flora. Patient will verbalize understanding of the importance of completing the full course of antibiotics.

Interventions

Administer prescribed antibiotics and monitor for side effects. Educate patient on completing the full course of antibiotics. Advise patient on proper perineal hygiene and avoiding douching. Encourage patient to attend follow-up appointments to ensure resolution of the infection.

Rationale

These interventions aim to treat the infection, prevent complications, and educate the patient on managing their condition.

Evaluation

Patient's infection status and symptomatology will be monitored to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
