Goals
Patient will remain free from systemic infection and demonstrate understanding of the importance of completing the antibiotic regimen.
Interventions
Administer prescribed antibiotics and monitor for effectiveness. Encourage patient to drink plenty of fluids to flush out bacteria. Monitor vital signs and assess for signs of systemic infection. Educate patient on the importance of completing the full course of antibiotics and attending follow-up appointments.
Rationale
These interventions aim to eradicate the infection, prevent complications, and ensure patient safety.
Evaluation
Patient’s infection status and adherence to the antibiotic regimen will be monitored during follow-up visits.
